Hello YDO members,
We are holding a General Membership Meeting on Sunday, June 12th at 11 am PT during the 2nd Quarter SCC weekend at The Dalles at Columbia Gorge Community College. We will be holding a special election to fill the newly vacated Chair position, as well as go over other new YDO/YDA business.
Interested in running for Chair?
1. Nominations: During the meeting, we will ask for nominations for each position. You can nominate yourself, or ask a friend to join you at the meeting and they can nominate you.
2. Speeches: You will want to prepare a 2-3 minute speech for whichever position you are running for. I would recommend introducing yourself, your background and what you are interested in working on within the Young Democrats.
