We're also hearing a lot about what a terrible Speaker Kevin McCarthy
would be. Everyone is fully aware of exactly who he is: A puppet for
Donald Trump.

He’s made it clear that if he became Speaker, he’d do everything in his
power to remove Adam from his committees specifically because of how Adam
has stood up to Trump.

Not to mention, McCarthy would prioritize some of the GOP’s most unpopular
policies like raising taxes on low income families, restricting voting
rights, destroying abortion access, and protecting the gun industry from
any reform. Under his reign, it wouldn’t be the people’s Congress — it
would be Trump’s.
