Hi team, Frank Wood here. You may recognize my face from television, where I try to hold your attention by playing a part. Today, I would like to direct your attention to my sister Maggie: She needs your support so she can play her part in saving democracy. 

From a young age, Maggie and I (and our older sister, Franny) were encouraged to speak our minds. Every so often, our dad would peer up from his newspaper while we finished our cereal and ask, "What are you doing for freedom today?"

At the time, Franny and I didn't necessarily know what it would mean to lend aid and succor to a principle, albeit one of the pillars of democracy – we were just trying to eat breakfast and get to school – but it's clear now that Maggie took my father’s provocation to heart. 

Since winning her first election to the Senate, Maggie has worked to expand health care, safeguard access to abortion, and defend our democracy. She's a bright light in politics: She knows how to listen to people and to work across the aisle to get things done.

Look, we can't lose Maggie's voice in the Senate. And I'm doing everything I can to ensure she wins her reelection, but I need your help. The GOP is spending millions to attack my sister, and she can only fight back if she has enough resources
