Unpopular Post Warning

Civilians used improvised weapons like a Narwhal tusk and a fire
extinguisher to take down a terrorist in London. I was very impressed by
their ingenuity, but it was disappointing to see how a lot of folks who
love guns were dismissive of their quick thinking and brave actions.

I love guns and knives, too. I carry when I am in the US.

But more and more, there are times you can't carry without the risk of
felony charges. There are more places with metal detectors and security
that prevent you from carrying.

With this in mind, I believe you're really limiting yourself if you only
consider conventional weapons worthwhile. Here's why we should think
beyond the gun.

I'm really interested to hear your thoughts on this. I know a few people
will find their feathers ruffled but I completely welcome civil debate.
(CIVIL.)  Let's talk about it in the comments section.

survived the war and some who did not. I found myself glued to the pages
when I read through it.
