But I’m also emailing you to talk about Montana’s Republicans and their plans to ensure Democratic voices don’t matter in this state.
Governor Gianforte hosted former Vice President Mike Pence, where they discussed strategies to shift the state legislature to a GOP supermajority, which would allow Republicans to pass legislation suppressing voting rights, banning abortion, and cutting taxes for the wealthy without fear of opposition.
Governor Gianforte is selling out and not doing his part to protect and serve ALL Montanans, and he is banking on the support from state legislators like Mark Blasdel and Wylie Galt to help him.
We need a cohesive strategy to fight back. That’s why I’m asking you to chip in right now and split a donation between the MDP and the MDLCC and support our efforts to defeat Republicans across the ballot in November.
