Hey friend, it’s John King. There’s so much I love about campaigning, from meeting new people across the state to finding new favorite small businesses and restaurants. Maryland simply cannot afford to wait any longer for action addressing the biggest challenges our state faces, which is why I have put forth detailed, visionary, and progressive policy plans for everything from building women’s economic equity to safeguarding and uplifting our HBCUs to ensuring every individual has a right to health care.

Climate change isn’t waiting for us to catch up. Our students are running out of opportunities to make up for lost time. And our families can’t thrive without proper access to good jobs, paid family leave, and early childhood education.
