Marilyn Levin – "Landscape of My Breast" (8x12 watercolor)

Watercolor made soon after her first breast cancer treatment.

Marilyn Levin is an artist and art educator living in San Francisco and Boston. She received her MFA in painting from the University of California Los Angeles where she studied with Richard Diebenkorn.

Levin has exhibited in the United States, Europe, and India and her work is represented in many public and private collections as well as several museums, including the San Francisco MOMA, the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University, the Kresge Collection at Harvard University, and the Sanskriti Museum in Delhi, India. She has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Atlantic Center for the Arts, the Sanskriti Foundation, and the Massachusetts Cultural Council. She has taught in the Tufts/Museum School Dual Degree program for over 25 years, and has led workshops in Massachusetts, Italy, and Mexico. Her work grows out of a concern for painterly abstraction and is concerned with color and its relationship to reflective surfaces.

Electric Meatsuit – “Overstanding Excellence” (12x12 digital art print)

Digital print of original piece made with acrylic and ink on canvas. Created in honor of Black excellence. "I cannot find the proper words to describe how this piece makes me feel, but let the piece be the message that the tongue could not convey."

Electric Meatsuit is a Bay Area artist originally from Alabama who expresses his lived experiences through his deeply thoughtful art. His body of work spans various mediums including watercolor, illustration, photography, street art and poetry.

Alexis Amann – “Double Wave Magic – Painted Amulet Necklace”

One-of-a-kind magical amulet. The artwork is hand-painted and double-sided on Arches cover paper. It is enclosed and sealed in a 2.5 x 1.7 octagon glass and antique copper locket, with a chain and clasp. The necklace chain length is approximately 18 inches.
Alexis Amann was raised on the magical Oregon Coast and has called the San Francisco Bay Area home for over a decade. Her art is character-driven and rooted in storytelling and narrative, existing in a world that is part mundane and part magic, and full of everyday things and weirdness. She makes paintings, drawings, installations, illustrations, comics, and products that reflect this world—a place where you’ll encounter sentient turnips, searching and wise women, witches and hags, harpies, magic cottages, mermaids, plants, monsters, and beings that are in between all these things. Crocodiles drink martinis, giant toads fly to the moon, and women go on dates with ghosts. It’s a place where the mundane meets the fantastical and mythological, where journeys are undertaken and harpies fight and puke. It’s a funny, hard, imperfect but beautiful world, and everyone is just trying to figure it out the best they can. Alexis earned her BA in Drawing/Painting/Printmaking from Portland State
University and her MFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute. Her artwork has been exhibited in Los Angeles, New York, Portland, Seattle, Detroit, and the San Francisco Bay Area.
