John, It’s been a busy congressional recess, but I wanted to keep you looped in on how I’ve been fighting for our conservative values lately in Washington. It is a privilege to serve as your congresswoman. I am pleased to announce that I filed to run for reelection in Minnesota’s 7th Congressional District last week. |
It is a great honor to be a featured guest speaker at the 51st Annual National Right to Life Convention later this month. I am proud to be unequivocally PRO-LIFE and will continue to fight for the rights of the unborn. Just this week, radical Democrats in Congress attempted to ram their blatant anti-gun agenda through the House Judiciary Committee. I, along with my Republican colleagues, pushed back on our liberal counterparts for opposing amendments that would support school safety officers while they demanded the purchasing age for a firearm be raised to 21. You can help keep people safe without taking away the right to self-defense that is enshrined in the Constitution. Along with my Senate colleagues, I penned a letter to the Secretary of Agriculture requesting that payments be made to offset any reduction in crop insurance guarantees incurred by producers planting after the final planting date. It is critical that we assist producers who are dealing with a disrupted spring planting. Thank you for your continued support. With gratitude, |
