John — Last month was hard.

Just two days in, a leaked Supreme Court opinion about Roe v. Wade
threatened the right to abortion across the country — and we watched as
control-obsesed politicians in Congress quashed any hope of codifying it
into law.

Then, after gun violence claimed the lives of ten people at a grocery
store in Buffalo and 19 children + two teachers at an elementary school in
Uvalde, Texas, we watched corporate-backed politicians offer the same old
“thoughts and prayers” they’ve had for decades without doing a damn thing
to address it.

Enough is enough. We can’t let these corrupt elites continue holding our
country hostage with an archaic Senate procedure. The only way we’ll be
able to preserve the right to abortion nationwide and protect everyday
Americans from the plague of gun violence in our country is by killing the
filibuster once and for all.
