Happy Pride Month! June is an opportunity to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Iowa and across the country. Here at the Iowa Senate Democrats, we are proud to stand with and fight for our LGBTQ+ friends and neighbors.

Unfortunately, Governor Kim Reynolds and Iowa Senate Republicans consistently attack our LGBTQ+ communities, attempting to ban books by LGBTQ+ authors and remove protections for LGBTQ+ Iowans, especially for trans kids.

We will never stop advocating for full and equal protection for every single Iowan. If you are able, consider chipping in today in honor of Pride Month to ensure LGBTQ+ Iowans have a voice in our State Senate.
