attacks on trans youth, with Republicans turning children into fodder for
their hateful, violent culture war.^1

Hundreds of bills have been introduced—and many have been passed—that ban
discussions of sexual orientation and gender identity in schools, bar
teachers from addressing students with the pronouns they use, stop trans
kids from participating in sports, and criminalize parents and doctors who
support trans kids with gender-affirming and lifesaving health care.^2

Trans youth have shown us again and again how fiercely strong they are by
speaking out about the discrimination they have faced, confronting the
hateful politicians who seek to harm them, and simply by living as their
authentic selves.

It is our turn to be fiercely strong for them.

For far too long, the trans community has been left out in the fight for

for equal rights since the Stonewall Uprising in 1969—which was led by
