Hey all,

I’m writing this email in the air conditioning of our campaign HQ - we just got back from knocking doors.

The scene here in the office is incredibly energizing: we have volunteers picking up door knocking packets, a bunch of people on the phones and we’ve had people walking in all day asking for yard signs.

It’s exactly what we need to be doing 4 days out from the top 2 primary on Tuesday. It’s all hands on deck!

One thing we didn’t quite plan for however, is how bloody hot it is outside (climate change anyone?). I really thought we had everything covered with our fundraising goal, but we’ve had to purchase a bunch more supplies - water, snacks, even sunscreen - to make sure this influx of volunteers have everything they need. A good problem to have I guess?

So I’m reaching out for your help: Will you chip in right now to help us cover these additional expenses and get out the vote so we can beat the Republicans?

We’re putting everything we’ve got into this get out the vote effort because we know this top 2 election is our first chance to show how strong our movement to keep CA-9 blue really is.

I promise you Kevin McCarthy is watching our election Tuesday as a barometer for his chances to become the next Speaker. We’re going to prove to him we’re not giving up this seat - and we’re going to do that by showing up in huge numbers on Tuesday!
