I lost the very first election I ran in. It was 2002, and I was running for New Hampshire State Senate.

I’ve run in many other races since then, and together with people like you, we’ve won many of them. I don’t take the privilege of serving Granite Staters for granted.

As we look ahead to this coming Election Day – the most important one we’ve faced since that first campaign in 2002 – I wanted to share a few pictures from campaigns over the years:

I’ll say it again: the stakes have never been higher than they are this time around. 

Democrats hold the narrowest majority possible in the Senate, a recent public poll shows me down by two points, and Mitch McConnell is chomping at the bit to roll back the progress we’ve been fighting for since that first race in 2002. Just last week, his dark money super PAC just announced a $4.7 million ad buy in New Hampshire. McConnell targeting me because he knows every single one of my opponents would be a rubber-stamp for his anti-choice agenda. 

Look, I really need your help. Our campaign needs the funds to take the lead in the polls. If we don’t get a surge in grassroots donors, we could lose in New Hampshire – and the Senate majority. Will you please pitch in $5 or whatever you can?
