John, we can't
ignore this.
Under Abbott, Texas has experienced 4 of the 30 deadliest mass shootings
in American history. Yet, instead of focusing on preventing the next one,
Abbott has made it easier for another one to happen.
These massacres aren't natural disasters, acts of God, or random. They are
totally predictable, direct consequences of the choices made by Greg
Abbott and the majority of those in the Texas legislature.

John, if
you're ready to elect Beto and finally take action to save lives, please
chip in $3 or more now.
First, let’s be clear: We cannot address gun violence without addressing
guns, but that is exactly what Greg Abbott is trying to do.
Second, if Abbott is going to keep talking about mental health, he should
get the facts right: Texas is 50th in the nation in mental health care
access in large part due to the actions he has taken.
[ [link removed] ]Abbott calls Texas school shooting a mental health issue but cut state
spending for it
→ Abbott has refused to expand Medicaid, which would bring $10 billion a
year to Texas and help increase mental health care.
→ Abbott recently slashed $211 million from the department that oversees
mental health programs in Texas.
→ Abbott is refusing to call a special session to pass common-sense
solutions that most Texans agree on.
Abbott’s response to mass shootings in Texas has been to make it easier
for the next one to happen. Our response must be to vote him out and
prevent the next mass shooting.
John, make
the choice to help elect a governor who is going to save the lives of
Texans. [ [link removed] ]Please, donate $3 or more right now to elect new
