We are less than 2 weeks away from the Mass Poor People and Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington and to the Polls. In just a matter of days, we will be participating in an historic gathering of poor and low-wealth people in our nation’s capital. We are asking you to get on social media and beat your digital drums to let everyone you know why you will #MeetUsinDC!     

This week, we are asking you to upload a picture of you and who you’re going with to DC to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter with #MeetUsinDC! We are a diverse movement, bringing people together across race, age, faith, gender, issue and region. Show everyone who you’ll be in DC with, whether it's your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, etc. Don’t forget to tag us at @UnitethePoor!

As so many communities have done in times past, spreading the word about important events over long distances, we thank you for amplifying this message online - and in the streets! We are using every tool at our disposal to show the pain, power and brilliance of the 140 million poor and low-wealth people in this country. 

Together, we can revive the heart and soul of this nation.
