John,
I'm tired of offering condolences to devastated families who had to go home to their children's empty beds. I'm tired of the moments of silence for yet another shooting. I'm tired of gestures without action.
19 children and two of their teachers were killed with an assault rifle right after 10 people in Buffalo. Four more people were killed this week in Tulsa, OK. It's time to do something.

We don't need mournful silence. We need our leaders to get loud and get to WORK. But they've made it crystal clear they won't do anything unless we force their hand — and that's why I'm writing to YOU today. John, Brady and I need your help to STOP this epidemic of gun violence.

There are 46 senators right now who refuse to vote on common-sense, life-saving legislation. Nobody I know is better at moving the needle and getting votes on these kinds of bills than the team at Brady. What they need from us, from you, right now are donations to power their work pushing for these bills and fighting to save more kids — more churchgoers, more grocery shoppers, all of us — from being shot and killed.
So I'm asking, not just as the son of a man killed by gun violence, but as somebody who wants us all to be able to live our lives without fear: Will you chip in now to help hit Brady's emergency goal, defeat NRA-backed politicians, pass gun safety legislation, and save lives?

We cannot be numb to this. We have to make change happen.
