Any legislator who puts special interests ahead of the lives of our children is failing to do their job, folks.

But Donald Trump, Senator Ted Cruz and others did just that when they spoke at the NRA convention in Texas last week. The NRA opposes ALL efforts to bring people together to prevent gun violence in our nation.

We need leaders who answer to voters and bring people together rather than stoking anger and division, not paid-for politicians who cater to partisan PACs or extremist special interest groups.

That’s why Evan isn’t accepting a dime from these dark-money groups. Instead, he’s relying on your small-dollar, grassroots support to bring more principled, independent leadership to Washington.
