"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."
- Numbers 6:24-26
Africa & Europe
IJM Uganda is recruiting some critical roles to lead and support in advocacy, communications and strategic casework delivery. Pray for us to find brilliant, passionate, talented individuals who have a deep faith and desire to serve God. Pray for a beautiful unity of purpose as the new members join the existing team working to end violence against women and children in the country.
Latin America
Join IJM in the Dominican Republic in praying for greater protection from trafficking in the country. They are asking specifically for the prompt submission of the draft of the new anti-trafficking law to the National Congress and its final approval by the Legislative and Executive Powers. This law would provide greater protections for survivors of trafficking and a quicker and more fair response of justice. Both elements are critical for a survivor in their restoration process.
South Asia
Praise God for favor with government partners in South Asia. In tandem with government officials, IJM has been able to continue its work of securing justice for survivors even during these unprecedented times. We are grateful that IJM has had many opportunities to coordinate with the government to build the capacity of caregivers and provide support to survivors.
Southeast Asia
Praise God for the conviction of six Filipino traffickers in four different cases within four weeks! The traffickers, five women and one man, were each sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment and must pay a minimum of $13,000 for sexually abusing children in their care and selling the abuse online to overseas consumers. Please continue to pray that the perpetrators of these crimes will be brought to justice.
IJM Global Office & Partners
IJM global office is located in the United States. IJM has Partner Offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Please pray for the IJM staff around the globe experiencing seasons of transition. In the months ahead, we have countless colleagues who will be getting married, welcoming babies to their families and moving to new homes across the country. Pray for seamless transitions, for peace in the midst of changing circumstances and for the joy of the Lord to fuel their spirits!
The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them, please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
