It's been an extraordinary month. Democrats won critical elections in three target states, including Louisiana and Kentucky, where President Trump personally campaigned in the final days in an effort to halt our progress.

I'm proud of our movement, and I'm extremely hopeful. It's clear that voters are fed up with the obstruction and anti-democratic impulses of the Republican Party. Citizens are demanding change. But I want to remind you that despite our victories, we have almost no margin for error in the months ahead.

In the wake of this month's victories, Republicans will be fighting harder than ever to hang on to their illegitimate power. We've seen them do it over and over again: in Michigan, in New Hampshire, in North Carolina. And Scott Walker, the de facto leader of Republican efforts to manipulate maps in 2021, has even gone as far as to defend racially gerrymandered maps.

That's where you come in. With your help, Democrats have broken GOP trifectas in five states since 2016 and gained trifectas in nine more. That's incredible!

Now, to take the fight for fair maps to the finish line, we must win elections in nine more states and continue the fight for reform measures -- all in the face of entrenched Republican opposition. It won't be easy, but nothing worth fighting for ever is.
