For the past several months, we’ve been releasing social content, videos, articles, and even a film all shining a spotlight on this fact: child exposure to porn is destroying the lives of children.
Our Protect Children Not Porn petition calls for required ID-based age verification on all sites that host porn (including Twitter).
This would effectively cut off access to porn for any person without an ID proving they are 18+, and it’s one of the single greatest steps we can take to protect children from the life-altering consequences of underage exposure.
On June 13, with our friends at the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, we’ll be co-hosting a national symposium for members of Congress, at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC, entitled “Child Sexual Abuse, Sex Trafficking, and the Pornography Industry: Toxic Online Criminality.”
This symposium, which will include testimony from experts and Exodus Cry team members, will educate lawmakers on critical next steps to protect children. It will also feature a screening of our film Raised on Porn.
As part of this event in DC, we’ll be presenting our Protect Children Not Porn petition—but, we need your help to reach our goal of 100K signatures!
We’re already at 81% of our goal so please sign and share with your friends and family today!
