According to a recent report, North Carolina’s Senate race is on track to be one of the most expensive in the country -- potentially breaking records.
Experts are calling our race a toss-up and a slew of polls show Cal defeating Tillis in a general election. That’s why special interest cash is already pouring into North Carolina to keep this seat in Republican hands.
Just recently, a Koch-funded outside group went up with a six-figure ad buy to try to save our opponent, Senator Thom Tillis -- which comes on the heels of the hundreds of thousands in outside spending already being used to fund his candidacy.
This news has our team worried, because the Koch network and shadowy players just like them are using the same playbook they used to win this seat in 2014. It worked then, and we'll need to throw everything we've got at them to make sure it doesn't work this time.
Give $10 or more before our fundraising deadline at midnight to stop corporate special interests from squashing our best chance to take back the Senate and help us flip this seat blue.
Tillis has done the bidding of the corporate special interests at the expense of folks like you and me since he took office. That’s why these groups are already spending to keep him in the Senate.
