I know it's hard to remain positive right now.

Yesterday there was a shooting in Racine, Wisconsin. These senseless tragedies feel never ending, and they will continue to happen until we have politicians in office who are not afraid to stand up to the gun lobby.

My heart goes out to the victims of this violence. As a mother and a physician, I will always put health and safety first. When I am Wisconsin’s State Treasure, the NRA will not be allowed in my office.
