This past month, our November matchup was officially set. Republicans nominated an anti-choice and pro-Trump candidate to face me, and we were counting on our grassroots donors to help us reach our first major general fundraising goal to prove that we were ready to face down attacks.

We beat our goal, and then some.

I'm grateful to everyone who was able to donate — even just a few dollars — in May. As we reckoned with the likelihood that Roe v. Wade will be overturned, the importance of electing and re-electing pro-choice representatives was all the more clear.

VA-10 deserves a leader who will fight for fundamental rights, and the stakes are high. I'm grateful for all the support we've received so far, and I know that we're building a campaign that can meet the many challenges ahead in the next five months.
