Hey there Team,

June is pride month - a time to recognize the contributions of the LGBTQ community to our nation and to honor those who have fought to bend the arc of history towards justice.

From the Stonewall Riots of 1969 to the landmark Supreme Court case of Obergefell v. Hodges recognizing marriage equality, America has made enormous progress in advancing the rights of our LGBTQ community. We know that the struggle for civil rights has made us a stronger, resilient, and a more just nation. America truly is a shining beacon for humanity.

Still, there is work to be done. We must strive to further unleash the hopes, dreams, and talent of all of our citizens if we are to confront the most pressing challenges of our times. We must seek meaningful inclusion and protect basic freedoms of all our citizens as we face a rise of intolerance and authoritarianism at home and abroad.
