Are you covering the March for Our Lives protests? We've got you covered

Before you head out to cover a protest, please check out our guide for covering protests. We have created checklists with helpful tips for reporters before, during and after the protest. In addition, the Student Press Law Center — with the help of our nationwide network of volunteer attorneys — will operate a Rapid Response Hotline on June 11 to provide free legal assistance to student media in responding to situations that might arise.

If you are a student journalist and run into problems while covering a March for Our Lives event, you can call (202) 785-5450. If you have a non-urgent media law question or need help before or after June 11, please contact our regular hotline.
