It's almost the weekend! And we've got your plans for Saturday afternoon.
Join BYD on Saturday, June 4th at 1:00pm to get the word out about Monae Priolenau, our endorsed District Leader candidate in the 56th Assembly District! You'll also get the chance to hang out with State Senator Jabari Brisport and our friends from other local political clubs.
Afterwards, we'll head to Cocktail Bed-Stuy to grab a drink and talk local politics.
Meet us by the Herbert Von King Ampitheater at 670 Lafayette Avenue, and help us get Monae elected!
Join Brooklyn Young Democrats via Zoom on Wednesday, June 15th at 7:00PM for our next meeting, where we'll consider endorsements in races throughout the borough.
We'll speak with State Senator Zellnor Myrie, who's running for re-election in State Senate District 20, which includes parts of Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, Crown Heights, Prospect Heights, Park Slope and Windsor Terrace. We'll also chat with Assembly Member Mathylde Frontus, whose 46th Assembly District includes Coney Island and parts of Bay Ridge.
After that, we'll hear from female District Leader candidates in Assembly Districts 46 (Coney Island, Bay Ridge), 58 (East Flatbush, Canarsie) and 59(Canarsie, Mill Basin), as well as male District Leader candidates in Assembly District 48 (Boro Park).
Then, we'll be voting on endorsements in all these races!
