Fellow Conservative, conservative governors across America have made a real effort to support jobs and small businesses through SMART, PRO-FREEDOM policies. And during uncertain times, conservative governors overwhelmingly REJECTED LOCKDOWNS, rejected COVID-19 virtue signaling, and focused on SMART POLICIES to help people while preserving individual freedom.
But liberal governors in blue states took a different strategy. They embraced endless lockdowns and it hurt their people and their economies.
Then they asked Congress for a bailout. And Congress tried to have taxpayers in red states help foot the bill for failing, liberal lockdowns!
With your help, we KILLED the BLUE STATE BAILOUTS. But there’s no doubt liberals in Washington will keep trying to pay back their lockdown-crazy friends on the state level. We think it’s about time Washington STOPPED giving away YOUR MONEY!

Let me share how the bailout game is played:

Left-wing politicians and corporate journalists attack conservative governors for opposing lockdowns.

Blue state governors stay shutdown and wreck their own economies.

Democrat governors lobby Democrats in Congress and ask for handouts.

Schumer and Pelosi write up bailout packages for “affected industries” but target the money to go back to their own blue states of New York and California.

You, the U.S. taxpayer, is then expected to foot the bailout bill for Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer’s connected friends.
This whole bailout scheme is doubly unfair when conservatives in red states—who rejected lockdowns—have to fund it!
Does this sound unfair to you? It should. And it’s why Heritage Action helped kill over $48 billion in blue-state bailout money last week.
Chuck Schumer tried to get GOP support for the deceptively titled "Small Business COVID Relief Act of 2022.” The bill is a nearly $50 billion bailout of big restaurants, professional league sports, and corporate music venues.
Heritage Action pointed out that this bill was nothing more than a blue-state bailout and worked with Republicans in the Senate to kill the bill. We’re proud of our work to save you, the U.S. taxpayer, over $48 billion.
And a “thank you” to the 43 Senators who voted against the bailout.
But Fellow Conservative, with inflation reaching record levels we think it’s long past time to turn off Washington’s firehose of money.

These bailouts are the worst thing at the worst time. And Congress isn’t done trying to spend your money.
Americans are worried about the effects of this big spending - we're feeling it every day. When we buy groceries. When we buy gas. When our dollar just doesn't stretch the way it used to.
But these left-wing governors and mayors who destroyed small businesses for two years with endless lockdowns continue to ask their friends in Congress to reward their bad decisions.
But red states that were responsible and reopened will be expected to subsidize the failed policies of pro-lockdown Governors. And every American is being punished with the burden of inflation!
That is NOT RIGHT!
