My primary election is just four days away and my team is heading into the final weekend ready to get out the vote.

We’ve got volunteers across the East Bay ready to help us talk to undecided voters, inform folks of what else is on the ballot, and ensure everybody has a plan to return their ballot.

This weekend will be critical to our plans to boost Democratic voter turnout before the primary — in California’s jungle primary system, the top two vote-getters advance to the general election in November, regardless of party affiliation.

Plus, this will be my first election since California’s congressional maps were redrawn, and I’m running in the newly-drawn 12th district. Since nearly 30% of voters in our district are new registrants, many voters will be seeing my name on their ballots for the very first time, which makes our voter outreach strategy so critical.

We have a lot planned for this weekend and our work will require a lot of resources. Will you chip in to help us execute our GOTV strategy before Tuesday’s primary?
