We live in a country where the federal minimum wage has been $7.25/hour since 2009 , making it impossible for a full-time minimum wage worker to live comfortably without needing to take a second or even a third job! We live in a country without a succinct, practical plan to combat climate change. We live in a country where an ambulance ride can cost us the food on our tables.
If we are going to create a brighter future for families like yours and mine, something has to change. This is why I am proud to fight for a livable, thriving wage and a green economy that works for all of us and preserves our planet for future generations.
Our campaign is proud to fight for policies that don’t suck, because, frankly, we deserve better.
