"The Second Amendment is not absolute." -Joe Biden

Joe Biden has become desperate in an attempt to salvage his presidency.

While he doesn't believe the Second Amendment is absolute, he is completely ignoring the part that clearly says, ". . . the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

And Biden is ignoring the first law of nature: the right to self-defense.

Yet in a primetime national address last night, Biden doubled down on going after your guns.

What Biden is calling for:

**Ban "assault weapons and high capacity magazines" -- yet nobody seems to be able to accurately define "assault weapon" and limiting magazines to 10 or fewer rounds would make the majority of guns illegal;

**Raise the age to purchase these "assault weapons" from 18 to 21 -- another case of letting Americans volunteer for military service and going off to fight and risk death in an endless war but they can't purchase their own weapon for personal security or hunting;

**Enact "Red Flag" laws -- lose your right to due process because of some faulty accusation;

**Repeal the immunity that protects gun manufacturers from liability -- imagine making Black & Decker liable because someone uses a powertool to harm someone else.

Biden spoke about protecting children, families, and communities.

But he completely ignored protecting our right to defend ourselves and our families!

And Congress is moving at lightning speed as well on gun-grabbing initiatives, in part because they want to show they've done something before leaving town for the summer.

And they are resolute in their plans to pass laws NOW.

During a House Judiciary hearing yesterday, Rep. Mondaire Jones (D-NY) boldly said,

"You will not stop us from advancing the Protecting Our Kids Act today. You will not stop us from passing it in the House next week. And you will not stop us (in the Senate). If the filibuster obstructs us, we will abolish it. If the Supreme Court objects, we will expand it. And we will not rest until we have taken weapons of war out of our communities. Each and every day, we will do whatever it takes to end gun violence. Whatever it takes."

But Patriot, NONE of the bills being proposed even come close to addressing the CRIMINALS or how to stop them. These bills only effect law-abiding citizens!

When later questioned by a reporter about the "weapons of war" Rep. Jones referred to, he said this would include "assault rifles and handguns" and then clumsily tried to walk that back and begged off when the reporter asked for clarification.

And right on cue, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has a series of votes scheduled for next week including plans to ban "assault weapons".

One problem is certainly that nobody trying to take the guns can articulate what an "assault weapon" is.

Patriot, these bills have a better chance of passage in the House, but we can stop them completely in the Senate.

But first, we need to make sure Republicans with a history of pushing for or voting for gun-grabbing schemes know where you and I and millions of other law-abiding Americans stand on this issue.

"Shall not be infringed"

Biden, Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and other gun-grabbers want to disarm law-abiding citizens. They believe you are guilty until proven innocent. They want to deny you your right to self-defense and to protect your family and property.

You and I must push back now. You and I must be just as resolute.

Then pass this along to your freedom and liberty-loving friends and family so they too can let the Senate know we believe in our rights and that we are not the problem.
