While families in Uvalde grieve the worst days of their lives, Texas Republicans continue to shirk their responsibilities.
Just this week, Greg Abbott called for the formation of a special legislative committee to study the causes of school mass shootings.
But the order was entirely lacking discussion of any reasonable gun control measures.
Greg Abbott has suggested mental health, social media, and police training as some of the most important issues at hand.
But we know he’s missing the mark, y'all: We need more than this. We need a leader who will stand up and fight for real, common sense gun control.
It's the only way to prevent the next tragedy.
