Folks, the statistics are clear: every day in America, more than 110 people are killed with guns. Guns have become the leading cause of death of young people in America, even more than car crashes.
It shouldn't be this way.
No one should be scared to see a movie, go shopping, go to school, or attend a church service. We owe it to every American to take swift action to address the gun violence happening in our country — and we need our legislators to act now.
It's never been more important to address gun violence. After Tulsa. After Uvalde. After Buffalo. The vast majority of Americans across the country want to see some kind of gun reform. We need our legislators to act now.
Communities everywhere have been touched by gun violence, and too many of our neighbors have faced the devastation of losing loved ones far too soon. This should not be our normal. We need our legislators to act now.
Public safety is not a partisan issue. It's time to come together to pass meaningful gun violence protection legislation. If you agree, add your name to join me in fighting for a better future for our children.
Thank you,
Josh
