At 10:00am CT on June 4th, Voto Latino will be leading religious leaders, elected officials, local and national organizations, and activists to Travis Park in San Antonio, Texas, to remember the victims and stand in support with all those affected by the devastating senseless tragedy that took place in Uvalde last week.

We are all witnesses to the devastation that gun violence has caused in our communities, and we are fed up. We are not powerless and will cede no ground to the gun lobby and politicians who enable them. We have the power to give voice to the most vulnerable and to spearhead change.

Join us in turning anger into advocacy.

Voto Latino Board member and former HUD Secretary Julian Castro and Congressman Joaquin Castro – along with national and local organizations and hundreds of local activists – will be joining our CEO Maria Teresa Kumar this Saturday in San Antonio. We are expecting thousands to join us in calling for action in our communities – many flying in from across the country.

San Antonio is 90 minutes outside of Uvalde where this senseless massacre took place. We are entering this space in solidarity, in mourning, and with a sense that the time for action is now.
