VoteVets is a critical piece of progressive infrastructure.

Our work electing progressive veterans and making the voices of veterans heard in tough races is unrivaled.

But the right has tried.

The Koch brothers tried to fund a similar effort on the right, and they aren’t the only right-leaning organization to try.

Earlier this week, Tom Cotton — preparing for a run for president — launched his “Veterans to Victory” operation.

Here is the truth:

The right consistently tries to copy VoteVets because they know our work is meaningful, and it gets results.

But the reason they’ve been unsuccessful time and time again is because we have something they don’t: grassroots support.
