Happy Pride Month, John!
Here at Team Deluzio, we want to wish a very happy Pride Month to the LGBTQ+ community throughout Beaver and Allegheny Counties.
Pride is about freedom: The freedom to love who you love and to live as you are. It’s also a celebration of the many LGBTQ+ activists throughout history who fought for those freedoms.
Yet the fight for that freedom is far from over. The radical right would be more than happy to take away those freedoms, punish transgender children and their parents who seek life-saving gender affirming care, and make LGBTQ+ folks like me live in fear. Chris’s right-wing opponent Jeremey Schaffer opposes the Equality Act and wants our LGBTQ+ friends and neighbors to have to live in the shadows.
Chis often says that he got in this race to fight for our common good – and that means for all of us. Chris is committed to ensuring equal rights for all, and when he’s in Congress, I know he will never stop fighting for LGBTQ+ folks like me.
