Hi Friend,

Earlier this spring, I sat down with two of our Ward 6 students, Sarah Cymrot and Nathaniel Liu. The pair have been publishing a podcast called, My Life's Work, a COVID project where they invite their neighbors to share their own stories with them in fun NPR-style format. They were kind enough to invite me to share my own.

I really enjoyed this conversation. Sarah and Nathaniel were such great hosts. When I listened to the final product, I was blown away by its professionalism and polish.

We covered a wide range of topics including my time growing up in Alabama, my time working in public health in Boston, my first campaigns in Minnesota and then here with Tommy Wells. And we spoke a bit about the challenges and opportunities of being a leader during some of the most turbulent times in recent memory.
