I’m proud to support Josh Shapiro for Governor of Pennsylvania — someone who has always and will always fight to protect the right to vote in one of our most pivotal swing states.

Josh will be an outstanding Governor, just as he’s been an outstanding Attorney General for Pennsylvanians.

But I want to give you one major reason I’m supporting him, one that’s personal to me: Josh has committed to appointing a pro-voting rights and pro-democracy Secretary of State.

The Governor of Pennsylvania is entrusted to appoint a Secretary of State — with huge consequences. We just saw an entire insurrection with roots in a bogus argument about Pennsylvania’s election laws.

This choice is vital — and we cannot entrust it to Doug Mastriano, Josh’s GOP opponent, who’s already promised to appoint a Secretary of State who will decertify voting machines and de-register voters at his whim.

These are the stakes — and it’s why I’m doing everything I can to make sure we elect Josh Shapiro Pennsylvania’s next Governor this November.
