There’s a lot to understand about Medicare and Medicaid. Though both programs have been around since 1965, the specifics of how they work, who they serve, and how they are different is still sometimes hard to parse.

As we’ve discussed before, the fight to protect Medicare and Medicaid is ongoing. We want to make sure that everyone understands the basics of both programs. Having as much knowledge about these life-changing programs as possible will help you to better advocate for these programs going forward.

Do you know which program, Medicare or Medicaid, provides health coverage if you are 65+ or under 65 and have a disability, no matter your income?
