Events & Fundraisers

Dear friends of the Fund,

We can’t wait for this summer’s Special Performance of The Music Man to benefit our programs and services—and the first to be announced for the Entertainment Community Fund under our new name! What makes a Special Performance so "special"? Broadway companies in New York and on the road generously give their time and talent by adding a performance to already rigorous schedules, with all ticket sales benefiting the Entertainment Community Fund. If your summer plans include a trip to New York City, we hope you’ll join us at these spectacular upcoming events!

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Louisa is a tiny parakeet with a huge dream: to be a Broadway star. But no matter what she does, everyone keeps telling her she's too small to make it big! When a chance at her big break comes, Louisa learns that no matter how small you are, with a little talent and a lot of hard work, you can do anything—even be on Broadway!

With colorful illustrations by artist Alisa Coburn, this heartfelt picture book from Tony Award-winning Broadway director Alex Timbers is about persistence, believing in yourself and, of course, the magic of Broadway. Royalties from this charming book are being donated by Alex to support the work of the Entertainment Community Fund.
