Friend,
Our generation has inherited an economy that is a barrier for younger generations to start planting their roots. It doesn’t have to be this way.
Let’s be clear — young Americans deserve living wages, affordable housing and childcare, and relief from student debt.
If this economic inequality continues, it will hinder the chances of younger generations – especially those of color – to own a home, have a family, or go to college. And our biggest challenges — from the climate crisis to access to health care to protecting basic rights — will be out of reach for working families.
With poverty levels increasing, the last few years have been tough for young adults – even more so for those in our Hispanic, Asian American, and Black communities. 47.8% of young people reported some difficulty paying household expenses.
It’s time to act and to fight for a better economy for our generation and generations to come. By volunteering, we will be able to reach out to millions of young people and help them mobilize to fight for a better future and economy.
Take action: Volunteer with us and help us continue the fight for economic justice!
Younger Americans today are drowning in student debt and have had to postpone dreams of owning a home — all while corporate profits continue to grow and billionaires and the ultra-wealthy get richer.
We have had enough. An economy that benefits us all is something that is long overdue and something we will continue to strive for, but we need your help.
Be a part of the economic justice movement by volunteering with us.
Together, we can create the change we need to see in our economy.
In solidarity,
NextGen America
