Andrew Giuliani WINS the NYYRC Republican Gubernatorial Straw Poll
The New York Young Republican Club executed a straw poll of its membership and related parties via an internet survey. Results from this survey were tracked via a control group identified by single-use links distributed via email and text to active Club members.
The New York Young Republican Club has approximately 1,100 active members and continually seeks to engage them at all levels of the political process. The Club endeavors to leverage its unique position to provide a differentiated perspective on the state of New York politics.
In total 245 responses were part of the control group. These were collected from self-reported registered New York Republican voters likely to participate in the upcoming June 28th primary election. Results were as follows:
Andrew Giuliani: 45.31% (111) Lee Zeldin: 39.59% (97) Rob Astorino: 5.31% (13) Harry Wilson: 0.82% (2) Not Sure: 8.98% (22)

The Club will conduct future straw polls and endeavors to improve the size and quality of future results.
The New York Young Republican Club makes no assertion to the extrapolation of the results of its poll to any larger population.
The New York Young Republican Club is on the lookout for a Gala Committee Chairman.
The Chairman of this ad-hoc committee serves as a non-voting member of the Club’s Board of Governors and reports directly to the Executive Committee. We are looking for someone with a passion for both conservative politics and a background in event, wedding, gala planning, catering, or hospitality.
The Gala Chairman will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and overseeing all efforts related to our annual gala, our largest event of the year.
Applicants must be a current member of the Club in good standing and be willing to commit to at least one board meeting and one Club event per month, including the annual gala.

One effective way to do this is to join a committee. We are currently looking for Vice-Chairs for many of our committees, who will receive special discounts for working events and recognition on our website. In addition to Vice Chair positions, we are looking to build all of our committees in terms of members.

To be a member of a committee you must be a member of the Club in Good Standing.
The New York Young Republican Club has caucuses that advocate for representation of their respective interests in the Club and Republican Party. We invite our members to become more active in our caucuses to promote Republican ideals throughout the five boroughs and beyond.
Any group of five Voting Members of the Club may petition the Board of Governors to charter a Caucus to forward ideas, advance an issue, represent a constituency, endorse candidates, or propose resolutions.
