UN Youth Delegate Programme for Ireland 2022 – 2023

Yesterday we announced the call for applications for the United Nations Youth Delegate Programme for Ireland 2022 – 2023, in association with the Department of Foreign Affairs. This will support two young people aged between 18-25 years to join Ireland’s delegation to the United Nations.

Regularisation Scheme for Undocumented People

Submissions for the regularisation scheme for undocumented people living in Ireland are open until July 31st. You can help by linking young undocumented people and their families to the support that MRCI have in place.

Gaisce are hosting a 1 hour workshop for those working on their Gaisce Gold Award portfolios. The session will cover what needs to be in your Gold Award portfolio, the process of putting one together, who needs to sign off on elements of the portfolio, recommendations for content and examples of past portfolios.

Research Project - exploring Young Carers' experiences

Breda Moloney, UCD doctoral researcher, is undertaking research interviews with 18+ year old pupils attending secondary school or who have completed senior cycle secondary school in 2020 or 2021 and who are/were involved in a caring role at home.

Send your news, events, and activities for inclusion in the next edition of Clár na nÓg, the youth sector newsletter, to [email protected].

Format: keep submissions concise (three lines or shorter). Include a link to your website where readers can find out more.

The E-Bulletin goes out to over 5,000 subscribers with an interest in youth issues. It is a great opportunity both to let the sector know about the fantastic work your organisation does and to target youth workers and those interested in youth work issues directly.
