Thank you for yet another month of great support. Because of you, we met our budget goal for May and will keep growing our campaign to keep the House BLUE.

Right now, that’s the epidemic of gun violence that continues to claim the lives of too many Americans—including our kids.

The Democratic House is committed to taking action. We’re about to vote on a piece of legislation with wide-ranging gun violence prevention tactics and have already passed bills to expand background checks and close loopholes that make it possible for many mass shooters to purchase guns.

While many of our Republican colleagues refuse to take action and opt to appear at events like the NRA conference, I’m standing up to the gun lobby and its millionaire donors.

Once again, my work would not be possible without your support here in Sacramento County and around the nation — and I wanted to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to focus on legislating in flashpoint moments like this one.
