The truth is, we’re closing the books on our November fundraising deadline at midnight tonight and we’re behind on our goals right now. This has been a challenging month for fundraising with the holiday break -- and it couldn’t have come at a worse time.

Democrats only need to flip four seats to take back the Senate and we have multiple paths to get there, especially since North Carolina has now been named a toss-up state by multiple forecasters.

Republicans know it, which is why McConnell and the Koch network are already spending huge amounts of money -- six figures! -- on TV and digital ads to keep their grip on Senate control.

If we fall short of our fundraising goal tonight, which could happen, then we’re going to have to make tough decisions about which battleground states to pull resources from. That would make it a lot harder to win back the Senate.

The clock is ticking, so we have to ask:
