But this month, we must also continue the fight.
Florida’s LGBTQ+ community is under attack from radical Republicans — in just the last two years, they have passed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill and legislation attacking trans youth.
In the face of hate, I’m prouder than ever to be an ally leading Democrats in fighting back.
And I’m ready to do everything in my power to promote and protect equality across Florida.
As a community and a state, we’re at our best when we embrace one another, protect the rights of every Floridian, and build a future based on equality.
That’s what I’m fighting for.
So regardless of whether you identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I hope you’ll join me this month and every month as we fight for a Florida that will make our kids–and all of us–proud.
