We have to stop this extremism

Team, you can officially add threats against the LGBTQ+ community as another thing leaders of the AZ GOP are OK with.
How else do you explain the silence from Paul Gosar, Wendy Rogers and the AZ Gov frontrunner Kari Lake, when one of their biggest supporters released a video openly saying he would target LGBTQ+ people and their supporters at area retail establishments – unless those establishments stopped supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
This is unacceptable and AZ GOP leaders must condemn it immediately. And yet, they haven’t.
Team, this is another example of the extremist people that Lake, Gosar and Rogers embrace. Their extremism isn’t limited to elections – they will carry it across all facets of Arizona. This isn’t the only example of the AZ GOP’s hostility to the LGBTQ+ community. They have repeatedly blocked attempts to prevent discrimination and firing on the basis of sexual orientation. That’s right – you can be fired from your job for being gay in Arizona, and the AZ GOP have continually blocked all attempts to change that.
Throw in recent legislation targeting transgender youth, national discourse around LGBTQ+ children, and more, and you can see we must continue to fight for the LGBTQ+ community and the rights they deserve.
