Last month, we set a goal of beating our April donor total, and I asked for your help.

Today, I'm proud to announce that you came through in a big way: Over 2,200 of you chipped in online in May!

I'm so thankful for all of you for making this grassroots movement bigger and stronger each month. When I'm faced with discouraging news or a new round of attack ads, it feels great to know that you have my back.

But I know that we'll face even more attacks in June, and we can't wait to make sure we have the resources we need to close the gap. The team that finally balanced our budget, fully funded our schools, and put the state back on track isn't going to stop fighting for your family -- no matter how much the opposition spends to distract Kansas voters.

That's why, even as we wrap up one fundraising drive, I need to prepare for the next. If you didn't have a chance to chip in last month, I hope you can today, at whatever level you can afford.
