Our work as Boston’s Welcome Center has never been more important, and we need your support [[link removed]]now.



The Rian Immigrant Center strives for a world where all are welcomed and valued and have equitable access to opportunities and protections. Each year, our educators, social workers and immigration attorneys assist more than 3800 individuals on the pathway to new beginnings. We support 288 immigrant students with learning English, finding employment, and becoming US citizens. Our citizenship tutoring program provides one-on-one tutoring to gain knowledge and confidence to pass the U.S. naturalization exam.


Through our Individual Achievement Program (IAP) we provide immigrants with the guidance and resources to help them on a pathway to a more financially stable future — for example, finding a job, or advancing their education through programs such as GED/HiSET, technical training or attaining a driver’s license,
