I couldn’t imagine a more qualified person to take on Dan Patrick this November than Mike Collier. Mike's a real leader, he’s been in this fight, and he knows what Texans want. That’s far more than I could say for our current Lieutenant Governor.

He’s joined by an incredible slate of statewide candidates. Beto, Mike, Rochelle, Janet, Luke, Susan, and Jay are poised to win and change the face of leadership in our state come Election Day.

Hi friend,

I’m filled with gratitude to be the nominee for Texas Lieutenant Governor, joining an incredible slate of candidates from the top to the bottom of the ticket. I couldn’t be more proud to stand alongside Beto, Rochelle, Janet, Luke, Susan, and Jay as we start working toward November 8th.

The heartbreaking tragedies of this past week have been a powerful reminder of what we’re fighting for here in Texas. The only way we pass the laws we need to protect our kids, our schools, and our rights is to vote out Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick, and the rest of the Texas GOP.

Over the last year, I have met thousands of Texans who recognize that our state faces a crisis of competent leadership. Texans agree that our state needs a proven business and energy leader -- not a former shock jock radio host and partisan zealot -- at the helm of our state government.

The fact is that Dan Patrick has abandoned the principles that make Texas the best place to live and work. He’s lined the pockets of his donors and lobbyist friends in Austin at the expense of the rest of us. I know we can and must do better.

But we can’t stop at the Lieutenant Governor. Myself and the rest of our statewide slate won’t rest until Democrats are leading the way in Texas -- because the only way we can make meaningful change is by taking back our state at the highest levels.

Friend, we’ve reached the most important part of the election cycle thus far -- the home stretch. We have less than six months until Election Day which means there is absolutely no time to waste.

This November, Texans will have to answer one simple question: are they better off now than they were eight years ago? With a rickety power grid, our public schools suffering, our children living in fear of gun violence, and our constitutional rights under assault, we cannot bear four more years of the Texas GOP.
