It’s official! Last week, I filed for re-election and will be on the ballot in November.

As your Secretary of State, it has been my job to make sure our elections are fair, accurate, secure and honest for all voters.

I’m proud that since I was first elected in 2014, Minnesota has consistently seen some of the highest voter turnout in the country and has been consistently named one of the best managed elections in the country.

My campaign is in full swing and June needs to be our biggest month yet. We’ve set an ambitious goal of getting another 1,000 people to join our campaign. Will you be one of them? Please consider chipping in before our first deadline on Friday.

As Minnesota’s chief elections officer, I’m in the democracy business. That means I literally make it my business to defend democracy, to protect the freedom to vote, and to lead with the truth.

That’s what this election is all about.

Pushing back against disinformation, extremism, and hyper-partisan schemes that would take us backward and weaken our best-in-the nation election system.


If elected, my opponents will do the opposite. They’ve promised to weaken our election safety nets and make this office highly partisan.
